The West Virginia University School of Medicine and Department of Community Practice seek an orthopedic surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to practice at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will practice in orthopedic surgery.
Qualifications: Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, be eligible for a state medical license, have completed an orthopedic surgery residency, and be board certified or eligible in orthopedic surgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
The WVU Health System has expanded significantly in specialty and sub-specialty care, including cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience. It operates West Virginia's first and only multi-organ transplant center and opened a new 150-bed Children's Hospital in September 2022.
With over 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees, the system is anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown and includes more than 20 hospitals serving a multi-state region.
