Job summary

Barton Associates seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon for a 90-day assignment in Louisiana. The role includes a 7-day on / 7-day off schedule with 24-hour call coverage, rounding, and morning clinic opportunities for joint replacement patients.

Clinic and call duties transition on Monday mornings, with 24-hour coverage. Travel expenses are covered and A-rated malpractice insurance is provided. ABLS and Epic EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) required.
• EMR: Epic used for charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic call coverage.
• Conduct patient rounds.
• Opportunity to see joint replacement patients in morning clinic.
• Manage rounding and call duties in afternoon.
