Job description

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic cardiovascular imaging physician to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Advanced Imaging Section as the Program Director for Cardiac CT. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with academic record and experience.

Position Overview

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Cardiovascular Medicine Imaging physician/physician scientist to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. The successful candidate will focus on expanding coronary and structural imaging to support inpatient and outpatient imaging services at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

The Ohio State University Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is setting new standards for advanced heart and vascular care through our nationally recognized experts. We offer innovative technologies, treatments, and clinical trials, many exclusive to Ohio State. Most of our faculty are principal investigators on research projects spanning basic, translational, and clinical research.

Requirements
  • Board Eligible/Certified
  • Successful completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship
  • Eligible for an Ohio License
  • Clinical or Translational Research experience preferred
  • Qualified for an academic appointment at Ohio State University; rank and salary based on experience
Division Details

The Division comprises over 60 cardiologists specializing in areas like general cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, pulmonary vascular disease, women’s cardiovascular disease, cardiac MRI/CT, and cardio-oncology. It is affiliated with the Ross Heart Hospital, ranked as a top 50 hospital nationally. The division also hosts six fellowship programs and provides services across Ohio and Kentucky.
