Position Overview

• Role: Nurse Practitioner / Physician for Virtual Patient Care
• Location: Fully Remote
• Schedule: Flexible, 10 hours per week
• Compensation:
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP): $60/hour (1099 contract)
  • Physician (MD/DO): $120/hour (1099 contract)

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake evaluations via video visits with new patients (ages 18+).
• Evaluate patients holistically, review labs, and prescribe weight loss medications, primarily GLP-1 agonists, when appropriate.
• Work with diverse patient populations, emphasizing inclusivity and evidence-based care.
• Respond to patient inquiries via portal and asynchronous chat regularly.
• Manage prescriptions and chronic conditions.

Requirements

• Active NP/MD/DO license in at least 4 of the specified states, with residency in the licensed state.
• Board Certification (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP / AMA or AOA.
• At least 2 years of independent practice experience preferred.
• One year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP-1 agonists, preferred.
• Comfort with prescribing compound medications.
• Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred.
• Experience with complex chronic condition management preferred.
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is a plus.
