Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of ophthalmology clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.

  • Perform physical examinations and order/interpret tests.

HealthPlus Staffing is assisting a well established organization with their search for a Ophthalmologist to join their team in Queens, NY. With over 35 clinics and over half a million patients across the 5 boroughs and Long Island, the growth potential is exponential. Job Description: Location: Queens, NY Position: Ophthalmologist Structure: Outpatient Credentialing: 60 days Days Schedule: Full-Time EMR: Epic Support: Full Office Staff and APP Duties: - Ability to diagnose and treat the whole range of glaucoma and general eye conditions and improve patient outcomes - Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained - Review patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order/interpret tests (visual field, OCT, biometry, etc.) - Perform routine eye exams and treat eye diseases, such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and glaucoma - Laser iridotomies, capsulotomies, and selective laser trabeculoplasties Benefits: Full Package Qualifications: Unrestricted NY license BE/BC in Ophthalmology Active DEA registration Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll One to three years of ophthalmology clinical experience in an outpatient setting If interested in this position please apply immediately and someone will be in contact within 24 hours of submission.
