Job description

Seeking an additional BE/BC Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our established and growing Ophthalmology practice in Champaign, Illinois.

  • Flexible employment status; part-time or full-time position
  • Manage a variety of ophthalmic conditions
  • Perform a high volume of cataract surgeries
  • The ideal candidate is motivated, personable, a team player, and possesses strong medical and surgical skills
  • Join a collegial work environment with mentorship and support for professional development. Our current team includes 5 Ophthalmologists, 5 Optometrists, 1 Low Vision specialist, 5 ABOC Opticians, and a dedicated Eye EMR support team. Specialties include Vitreoretinal Surgery, Medical Retina, Cornea, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Neuro-Ophthalmology.
  • Busy, full-volume practice with a strong referral base
  • Minimal call responsibilities (1:5) supporting work/life balance
  • Large optometric referral network
  • State-of-the-art facility with 26 exam lanes, procedure rooms, laser rooms, an onsite ambulatory surgery center, research suite, and optical services in Champaign
  • Satellite clinic in a new building with an onsite ASC in Danville
  • Advanced equipment including Zeiss IOLmaster 700, Humphrey Visual Fields, Heidelberg OCTs, Optos Silverstone, Cirrus OCT, and various lasers
  • Opportunity for academic or research affiliation with the Illinois College of Medicine
