Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Director of Medical Operations to lead clinical teams across Indiana and Western Ohio, ensuring high-quality patient care and strong employer relations. You will drive clinical and financial metrics, mentor clinicians, and implement regional strategies to improve service delivery and growth.

The role requires board certification in occupational medicine or related specialty, MD/DO, and an unrestricted medical license, with 80% time spent at sites and 100%

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification in occupational medicine, or related specialty.
• Unrestricted medical license in applicable state and DEA license.
• Experience leading medical operations across multiple sites and networks.
• Strong governance, risk management and quality improvement background.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical operations across Indiana and Western Ohio ensuring quality and patient safety.
• Drive key clinical and business metrics, including patient experience and service levels.
• Mentor clinicians, optimize workflows, and coach teams across sites.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and vendor/center relationships.
• Partner with therapy and operations to support care delivery and growth.
• Develop action plans to address financial performance and service line gaps.
• Represent Concentra with employers, payers, and communities; ensure timely responses.
