Job Title: Radiation Oncology Physician

Facility: John Cochran VAMC
Shift: 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM CST
Pay Rate: Depends on Interview and Experience
Duration: 5 Years, with ongoing recruitment to cover gaps

Job Description: John Cochran VAMC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiation Oncology Physician to join our team in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our veterans, utilizing advanced radiation therapy techniques to treat cancer and other diseases.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation therapy.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  4. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  5. Participate in clinical research and continuous education to stay current with advancements in the field.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
