Physician / Oncology / Illinois / Locum or Permanent / Radiation Oncologist Opening in Peoria, IL - Growing, Established Practice

Seeking a full-time BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to join our growing practice in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details:
  • Our established practice includes 1 Radiation Oncologist, 1 Dosimetrist, 1 Physicist, 5 Radiation Therapists, 2 RNs for the clinic, 2 Medical Office Assistants, and a Clinic Supervisor.
  • Due to consistently high volumes (30-40 patients daily), we are seeking an additional Radiation Oncologist to support the growth of our practice.
  • Variety of treatment options: SRS, SBRT, and IMRT. HDR Brachytherapy available but not required.
  • Equipment includes: a new Varian Edge Radiosurgery Linear Accelerator, a Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerator, and a GE CT Simulator.
  • Participate in weekly disease-specific Tumor Boards and clinical trials.
  • Support services include disease site-specific RN navigators, oncology social workers, and an oncology dietitian.
  • Position open to both experienced candidates and new graduates.
  • Leadership opportunities and mentorship available.
Work Environment:

Clinic located within the hospital, fully integrated with Epic EMR for care coordination. Call schedule of 1:2.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range: $550,000 - $600,000
