Job description

Medical Oncology & Hematology locum Physician needed for clinic coverage in Minnesota, starting ASAP. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00/4:30 PM. No call responsibilities. The position is ongoing due to a permanent MD resignation, with interest in temp-to-perm arrangements. Outpatient setting using EPIC EMR; Beacon for chemo ordering. Practice involves approximately 30% Hematology and 70% Oncology. Patient census: 12-16 adult patients per shift.

Qualifications:
  1. Board Certification in Medical Oncology required.
  2. Dual board certification in Hematology preferred but not required.
  3. Minimum of two years post-residency/fellowship experience.
Interview Process:

Prefer Zoom video interviews; phone interviews are also acceptable.

Mandatory In-Person Requirements:

All providers must fly into Minnesota for fingerprinting prior to starting. Fingerprinting is a billable expense to the client and must be scheduled on a weekday. Due to COVID-19, fingerprinting facilities may be closed or have high volume, which can delay scheduling. Efforts will be made to align fingerprinting with orientation trips, but this is not guaranteed. Privileges will only be granted after fingerprinting is completed in Minnesota, regardless of existing licenses.
