OhioHealth is seeking an Office Specialist in Dublin, OH to support patient flow and deliver exceptional clerical service. Responsibilities include greeting patients, registering, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments and handling payments within the EMR system.
The role also covers general office tasks and coordination with clinical staff. The candidate should have 1–2 years of health-care secretarial experience or equivalent, plus strong data entry and phone etiquette.

Job Description Summary: Provides receptionist/clerical support assuring patient flow, comfort and satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering phones utilizing a computerized system, directing calls appropriately, scheduling patient appointments in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, data entry of patient information and insurance verification, providing support to staff members as assigned. The Office Specialist is well organized, highly motivated, customer service oriented, expresses good communication skills, and has strong computer knowledge and skills.
