The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking an academically-oriented oculoplastic ophthalmologist to grow our oculoplastics division. The opportunity to provide multidisciplinary care exists through strong relationships with Facial Plastic, Otolaryngology, and Neurosurgery departments at University Hospitals. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. The University Hospitals Eye Institute and the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at University Hospitals / Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) bring together world-renowned physicians and leading research scientists to prevent, treat, and cure the most prevalent and devastating diseases of the eye—all while training the next generation of ophthalmologists. The position entails clinical activity at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and two associated satellite clinics. Well‑equipped minor OR facilities are available within all clinic locations where the oculoplastics faculty member will practice.

Responsibilities include maintaining high clinical and ethical standards, adhering to compliance measures, fostering a high level of patient satisfaction, and promoting unity through collaborative practice and effective communication. Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills are required. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in teaching.

The successful candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology, with subspecialty training in Oculoplastics, and must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
