Job summary

Amky Physician Services is seeking a Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Clinton, NC. The provider will round on patients, be on-call for emergent C-seCTIONS and vaginal deliveries, and handle emergent GYN procedures with transfers to NICU facilities as required.

High-risk deliveries are emergent; there is no NICU at the facility. Housing is available in hospital apartments adjacent to the facility and providers must be within 20 minutes per bylaws.

Qualifications

• Active NC license and NC DEA are required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience delivering babies with case logs for the past 24 months.
• No malpractice cases or disciplinary actions on record.

Responsibilities

• Round on patients and manage labor and delivery duties.
• On-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
• Available for emergent gynecologic procedures.
• High-risk deliveries are emergent; transfer to NICU facilities as needed.

Level 1 nursery at Sampson Regional.
