Physician / ObGyn / New York / Locum tenens / OB/GYN Generalist Job

A healthcare services organization in New York City is currently seeking a new OB/GYN Generalist to join their growing team at one of their facilities in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

  1. Schedule: Monday to Friday
  2. Hours: 8am to 5pm
  3. Call: None
  4. Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including ambulatory care clinics and in-patient services.
  2. Provide gynecological surgical care to patients, including minimally invasive techniques.
  3. Provide generalist obstetric and gynecologic care to patients.
  4. Provide supervision and teaching to Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students, including didactic sessions.
  5. Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities, as directed by department leadership.
  6. Perform other duties, as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Board Eligible / Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  2. Proven skills in Laparoscopy.
  3. Experience with Minimally Invasive Surgery (or training).
  4. Experience or training in Robotic Surgery.
  5. Interest in Teaching.

Desired Skills:

  1. Bilingual (English & Russian preferred; English / Hebrew & English / Mandarin also helpful).
