Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a board-eligible/certified OB/GYN to join our growing team. This 1.0 FTE role involves building a full-spectrum OB/GYN practice, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participating in research and mentoring.

Responsibilities include clinic, L&D coverage, and hospital procedures with call coverage in an academic, community-focused Banner environment.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• AZ medical license or ability to obtain.
• Commitment to teaching medical students, OB/GYN residents & fellows.

Responsibilities

• Build a full-spectrum OB/GYN practice including clinic and L&D.
• Provide research, teaching, and mentoring of medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in hospital procedures and 24-hour call coverage as required.

Faculty Physician - General OB/GYN | Join a Growing OB/GYN Team| Banner University Medical Center (PHX)

Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) is seeking a board eligible/certified physician to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. In addition to building a full-spectrum OB/GYN practice, this position will provide the opportunity to help shape the future of obstetrical and gynecologic care in the community and the region, as research, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows will be included.

• 1.0 FTE
• Clinic / L&D coverage / hospital procedures
• Call: (4) 24-hour shifts OR (8) 12-hr shifts per 4 week block
• Our program has 9 residents each year, or total of 36 residents

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid AZ medical license, or ability to obtain
• Committed to teaching medical students, OB/GYN residents & fellows
• Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives
