Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a board eligible/certified OB/GYN physician to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. The role includes building a full-spectrum OB/GYN practice, teaching medical students and residents, and mentoring fellows within a growing program.

The position involves clinic, L&D coverage, and hospital procedures with a 1.0 FTE commitment and structured call shifts.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or certified in OB/GYN.
• Commitment to teaching medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Build a full-spectrum OB/GYN practice including clinic and L&D coverage.
• Participate in research, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows.
• Provide hospital procedures and participate in call coverage (4x24-hr or 8x12-hr shifts per 4 weeks).
• Contribute to the department's educational mission within Banner University Medical Center Phoenix.

Faculty Physician - General OB/GYN | Join a Growing OB/GYN Team| Banner University Medical Center (PHX)

Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) is seeking a board eligible/certified physician to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. In addition to building a full-spectrum OB/GYN practice, this position will provide the opportunity to help shape the future of obstetrical and gynecologic care in the community and the region, as research, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows will be included.

• 1.0 FTE
• Clinic / L&D coverage / hospital procedures
• Call: (4) 24-hour shifts OR (8) 12-hr shifts per 4 week block
• Our program has 9 residents each year, or total of 36 residents

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid AZ medical license, or ability to obtain
• Committed to teaching medical students, OB/GYN residents & fellows
• Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives
