Overview

Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking an OB/GYN to join an established practice in Big Rapids, MI. Join four other OB/GYNs and two APPs with office space on the hospital’s campus. Corewell Health Big Rapids Hospital is a 53-bed hospital with a busy Labor and Delivery service. Our providers deliver 500+ babies per year, plus a large gynecology volume. Our OR is equipped with a DaVinci Robot. Our office and Hospital utilize Epic EMR. This is an employed position with practice management professionals supporting day-to-day operations and the resources and referral base of the larger Corewell Health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care as part of an established team.
• Deliveries and gynecologic procedures; participate in L&D coverage as needed.
• Utilize the DaVinci robotic system and Epic EMR for patient care and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and refer to the broader Corewell Health system as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Certification – BLS (Basic Life Support)

Corewell Health Big Rapids Hospital is a 49-bed acute care hospital located in Mecosta County. The hospital maintains a level IV trauma designation and is a TJC Comprehensive Stroke Center. It offers inpatient medical, surgical, obstetrical, and critical care units, along with outpatient services including a full-service laboratory and medical imaging (CT, MRI, 3D mammography, bone density, ultrasound), cardiopulmonary services, rehabilitation, and outpatient surgical procedures. The hospital has a 24-hour emergency department with private treatment rooms and a broad medical staff including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, urology, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics & gynecology.
