Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for our OB Core Faculty and Triage unit. This part-time position supports an 11-bed triage unit with independent assessment, hospitalist duties, and opportunities to teach OB/GYN residents.

The CNM will join a supportive team on the Labor and Delivery unit and participate in comprehensive obstetric care for patients >20 weeks, with a focus on quality and safety in a busy, teaching-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; advanced practice.[Emphasis on leadership in women's health]
• 3 years of Women’s Health AP role in high-acuity inpatient setting
• Previous experience in collaborative roles and teaching OB/GYN residents
• Nurse midwife license (MI) and CRP/CPR as required/preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide CNM services with independent assessment and treatment within an inpatient OB/GYN setting
• Work on the Labor and Delivery unit and perform hospitalist duties
• Triage and manage obstetric care for patients >20 weeks in Butterworth’s 11-bed unit
• Teach OB/GYN residents and collaborate with physicians on patient care

Corewell Health West is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing team at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital’s OB Core Faculty and Triage unit. This is a part-time position. Our 11-bed triage unit provides excellent basic and emergent obstetric care to patients >20 weeks within one of the busiest obstetric units in the country. Our APP run unit allows independent assessment and treatment with a safety net of inpatient physicians nearby. Additionally, CNM's will work on the Labor and Delivery unit and perform full scope hospitalist work teaching obstetric residents.

Candidate Must Have

• 3 years experience in Women’s Health in an advanced practice provider role, in a similar inpatient, high acuity environment. We are not able to consider applicants who do not meet these qualifications.
• Previous experience in a collaborative role
• Passion for obstetric care and women’s health
• Willingness to teach OB/GYN residents
