**Responsibilities**

**Ascension St. Vincent Brownsburg OB is seeking to add an experienced Full Time OBGYN for their Eagle Highlands location in Indianapolis.**

**The OB Physician/Hospitalist will be responsible for:**

+ Management of labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians

+ Urgent postpartum care as requested by the assigned physician

+ Caring for all unassigned patients who present to the OB Unit or Emergency Room

+ Triage of all patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted

+ When necessary perform cesarean deliveries

+ Perform circumcisions

+ Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults & actions when requested

+ Level IV hospital and nursery

+ Level IV maternity center and NICU

+ 24hr dedicated OB anesthesia

+ Out patient Office hours as needed

+ Rapidly growing suburban market with mostly private payer mix

+ Location includes - Womens & Infants Hospital/86 Street Campus

**Requirements**

**Licensure/Certification/Registration:**

**Required Credential(s):**

+ Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

+ Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

**Education:**

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
