Corewell Health in Royal Oak, MI seeks an OB/GYN Laborist Role A to provide in-house obstetric care on a 24-hour call coverage program. The role requires immediate availability during shifts and may involve supervising residents and educating students where applicable.
You will collaborate with obstetric teams to optimize resources, manage high-volume labor units, assist in emergencies, and participate in safety huddles. A Doctorate MD/DO license in Michigan is required.
The OB/GYN Laborist Role A is an in-house position which ensures that safe, high quality, evidence-based care is provided to obstetric patients and that hospital resources are managed in a clinically appropriate way. In sites where residents and/or medical students are present this may include resident supervision and education. The OB/GYN Laborist Role A is the primary, first line provider who is expected to be immediately available and present during the entirety of their shift.
