Job Requirements

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, located in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking to hire OB Hospitalists to join a new and growing program. The OB Hospitalist will provide emergency/unassigned/OBED call coverage and assist with the management of private OBGYN deliveries and GYN emergencies. Private OBGYNs will oversee their own post-op patients. New residents are welcome to apply.

Highlights of the opportunity include:

1. Busy 14-bed L&D unit with over 3,500 deliveries a year and 12,000 OBED encounters
2. New OBGYN residency program starting in 2025; will supervise residents
3. Attend all deliveries, floor, and cover a 6-bed OB ED – 2 physicians in house per night
4. 12-hour (7p - 7a) and 24-hour shifts available
5. In-house anesthesia coverage, Level III NICU with 24-hour coverage, and MFM available
6. Compensation package including a $6,000 CME allowance
7. Multiple attractive retirement options available
8. Relocation expenses and sign-on bonus
9. Approved PSLF institution
