Job Requirements

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, located in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking OB Hospitalists to join a new and growing program. The OB Hospitalist will provide emergency/unassigned/OBED call coverage and assist with the management of private OBGYN deliveries and GYN emergencies. Private OBGYNs will oversee their own post-op patients. New residents are welcome to apply.

Highlights of the opportunity include:

1. Busy 14-bed L&D unit with over 3,500 deliveries annually and 12,000 OBED encounters.
2. New OBGYN residency program starting in 2025; will supervise residents.
3. Attend all deliveries, manage floor duties, and cover a 6-bed OB ED – with 2 physicians in house per night.
4. Shift options include 12-hour (7p - 7a) or 24-hour shifts.
5. In-house anesthesia coverage, Level III NICU with 24-hour coverage, and MFM available.
6. Compensation package includes a $6,000 CME allowance.
7. Multiple attractive retirement options are available.
8. Relocation expenses and sign-on bonus offered.
