Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a full-time OB/GYN specialist to join our academic team at the region's quaternary referral center in Kansas City.

The selected physician will provide ambulatory and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, supervise residents and students, participate in teaching conferences, and engage in scholarly activities and clinical research as part of a renowned academic medical center.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
• Experience in menopause and/or vulvovaginal care highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory and inpatient obstetric/gynecologic care, including night and weekend Labor and Delivery coverage.
• Attendance and presentations at student, resident, and fellowship teaching conferences.
• Guide and assist house staff and students in talks, publications, and research, and conduct clinical research as part of the division.

Physician - OB/GYN Specialist

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is seeking a full-time OBGYN who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.

The selected physician will join a robust team of over 35 faculty members, 25 residents, maternal-fetal medicine and gynecologic oncology fellows. As a faculty member of the Specialist Division, you will supervise residents and students, as well as provide consultation to certified nurse midwives. The ambulatory practice includes care in outpatient private clinics, supervision of resident clinics and coverage of community-based clinics.

The position provides a competitive benefits package. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Duties Outlined:

• Ambulatory care and inpatient care, including night and weekend Labor and Delivery and gynecology coverage
• Provide attendance and presentation at student, resident, and fellowship teaching conferences
• Guide and assist the house staff and students in preparing talks for meetings, in writing publications, and in conducting and presenting the results from research projects. Be an example of an academic physician by conducting clinical research in the Division. Support the other scholarly activities of the school

Required Qualifications:
