Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking an OBGYN in Fremont, Michigan

Join this thriving practice, working with three other OBGYNs and two CNMs, dedicated to providing excellent evidence-based care to a rural and underserved community. The practice is supported by a robust Women's Health Service Line through Corewell Health, including maternal fetal medicine, gynecology oncology, urogynecology, sexual health, and menopause services. You will have a good mix of obstetrics and gynecologic surgery with access to excellent robotic surgery technology. Office space is located in the hospital and offers services such as social work, a lab, and physician-performed ultrasound. Corewell Health uses Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required
• Licensed Physician (MD) or Osteopathic Physician (DO) in Michigan upon hire
• DEA registration in Michigan upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC within 120 days
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA if required by specialty or stress test performed within 120 days

Corewell Health Gerber Hospital

Gerber Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital in rural Newaygo County with a significant Amish population and seasonal migrant farm workers. It offers inpatient and outpatient services, including a Family Birthing Center with midwife services, a full-service laboratory, cancer services, advanced medical imaging, cardiopulmonary services, comprehensive rehabilitation, outpatient surgical procedures, and more. The hospital has a 24-hour emergency department and a diverse medical staff including surgery, pediatrics, ENT, oncology, and obstetrics & gynecology.
