Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND seeks an OBGYN physician to join a busy practice of 8 MDs, 3 NPs, and 6 CNMs. You will provide comprehensive obstetric, gynecologic, and neonatology care in inpatient and outpatient settings, with a 24/7 on-call schedule and involvement in a large delivery volume.

The position emphasizes fertility care collaboration, subspecialty integration, and participation in a modern maternity program featuring a Level III NICU and advanced surgical options.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Interest and experience in fertility care and related subspecialties is preferred.
• Valid medical licensure in the state of North Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric, neonatology, and gynecologic care in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Share a 24-hour, 7-day call schedule with the practice’s on-call team.
• Participate in deliveries (approximately 1,500 per year) and manage low- and high-risk obstetric cases.
• Collaborate with the fertility, MFM, urogynecology, and oncologic teams to deliver interdisciplinary care.
• Engage in outreach initiatives and support the growth of satellite clinic services.

OBGYN‑1.0 Full‑Time Physician – Fargo, ND. Join a practice of 8 MDs, 3 NPs, and 6 CNMs that offers a state‑of‑the‑art facility with a Level III NICU, a newly remodeled Labor and Delivery Unit, a DaVinci Robot, and a comprehensive maternity and OB/GYN program including fertility care, MFM, REI, urogynecology, and gyn oncology support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric, neonatology, and gynecologic care in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Share a 24‑hour, 7‑day call schedule with the practice’s on‑call team.
• Participate in deliveries (approximately 1,500 per year) and manage low‑ and high‑risk obstetric cases.
• Collaborate with the fertility, MFM, urogynecology, and oncologic teams to deliver interdisciplinary care.

Compensation

Base salary: $406,000. Eligible for additional bonuses, quality incentives, and production‑based compensation.
