Description:Urgent coverage is needed for specific 24-hour call shifts.Deliveries average 500 yearly, with 30-50 deliveries per month.There is NP and midwife support, but they are not available for call.The daily patient census is approximately 5-6 patients.There are 10 labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms.Facilities include antepartum and examination rooms.The unit also has 2 operating rooms and a post-anesthesia care unit.Normal obstetric cases are handled in the operating room.The call shifts run from 7 AM to 7 AM.Specific dates for coverage are November 26-29, December 4-7, December 11-13, December 23-27, and December 31 to January 1.
