Job Overview

At Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, we are seeking an OB/GYN physician to join a multi-specialty practice of 22 physicians and 6 NP/PAs. We provide comprehensive, high-quality medical care for the entire family through all stages of life.

Our OB/GYN physicians and APPs are supported by a larger multi-specialty clinic structure and work collaboratively with 22+ physicians and 6 NP/PAs in specialties such as pediatrics, internal medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery, and sports medicine. Consulting physicians are available in neurology, cardiology, and oncology. Ties to the University of Minnesota strengthen access to specialists for questions or phone consults. Many other subspecialists are available through extensive outreach programs.

The clinic is associated with Fairview Range Medical Center, the largest medical center in the area, utilizing the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment. Services include a 24-hour fully staffed ED, comprehensive laboratory and diagnostic imaging, 24-hour respiratory therapy, radiation therapy, ICU, pediatric floors, and various specialty clinics.

• Onsite diagnostic services include lab and x-ray.
• Practitioners work a 4.5-day workweek with 36 patient contact hours per week. Clinic hours are Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• 1 in 4 call.
• Physician leadership is valued, encouraged, and supported at all levels.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA OB/GYN residency program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
• Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification for Minnesota.
• Meet criteria for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).

Compensation

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). Actual pay may vary based on FTE, skills, education, experience, and market conditions. Our organization values pay equity and considers internal equity when making offers. Hiring at the maximum of the range is uncommon.
