Essentia Health's Duluth Clinic is seeking a dedicated orthopedic nocturnist to cover evening and night shifts from 4 PM to 7 AM at our Level I trauma center. This role involves seeing orthopedic admissions and high-energy trauma cases while avoiding office duties or hospital rounding.

Responsibilities

• See orthopedic admissions and high-energy trauma patients per trauma team discretion.
• No hospital rounding; no requirement to respond to hospital codes; potential remote/hybrid options.

Flexible scheduling options to include: two weeks on / two weeks off, one week on/one week off, or other agreed upon coverage model.Supported by four fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeons, with 7 days/week who have dedicated day and evening trauma rooms.Supported by 14 subspecialty trained orthopedic surgeons in orthopedic oncology, hand, foot and ankle, shoulder, adult reconstruction and ortho pediatric surgery.Call is supported by APP group who take call 24/7 and answer in-house calls and outside patient calls.No Spine!
