Job Description

The division consists of nine faculty members providing high-volume clinical services, interpreting studies across the spectrum of neuroimaging at our Center City and South Philadelphia campuses, as well as at state-of-the-art suburban outpatient imaging centers. The division collaborates with neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, neurology, ophthalmology, rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, and research PhDs. An active clinical fMRI program is part of the division.

Opportunities abound for clinical research in various areas, including Health Policy research. The Jefferson Integrated Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center (JIMRIC) supports neuroradiology research, with projects such as diffusion imaging of the spinal cord, cortical mapping, fiber tract mapping for functional neurosurgery, and functional imaging for neuro-oncology. There are also R&D opportunities with our machine learning/AI group, data science, and Imaging Informatics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. An MD, DO, or equivalent degree
  2. Completed an ACGME-accredited radiology residency program and either completed or enrolled in an ACGME-accredited neuroradiology fellowship
