Baptist Health South Florida seeks a Neurologist to join the Marcus Neuroscience Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. The role features a neuroscience program with cutting-edge facilities and a strong, multidisciplinary team delivering advanced neurological care in the Palm Beach area.

Ideal candidates are ABPN board-eligible/ certified in Neurology, with fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology, and a commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution and unrestricted license or eligibility.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Neurology by ABPN; fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary neurology team at Marcus Neuroscience Institute in Boca Raton.
• Provide comprehensive neurological care including epilepsy/EEG-related duties.
• Collaborate with providers, participate in teaching and clinical research, report to Chief of Neurology.

Description

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Neurologist to join its well-established program at its Marcus Neuroscience Institute located at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. The Institute includes a 20-bed neuroscience intensive care unit and four dedicated operating rooms with access to the latest intraoperative MRI and CT technology, as well as a biplane angiography suite critical for fast diagnosis and care of neurological conditions. The incoming provider, who will report to the Chief of Neurology, will join a large and well-supported team of interdisciplinary physicians and clinicians providing neurological care to patients in the Palm Beach area.

• Ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge of neurophysiology, clinical physiology, and epilepsy research, including experience in diagnosing and treating patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders, conducting and interpreting EEGs and other diagnostic tests, inclusive of EMGs

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
• The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurophysiology (ABPN) with additional fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology and respective subspecialty Board Certification through ABPN
