Lebanon VAMC: Located in Pennsylvania Dutch country, Lebanon VA Medical Center is one of 9 medical centers in VISN 4, serving over 174,000 Veterans across nine counties in South Central Pennsylvania. The main campus is in South Lebanon Township, near Lebanon city, Harrisburg, Hershey, Reading, Lancaster, and York. Six Community Based Outpatient Clinics are also available in PA.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of veteran patients with Sleep Disorders, using standard methods.
2. Collaborate with physicians and technologists within the sleep program in the Department of Neurology.
3. Read sleep studies and teach sleep fellows.
4. Participate in reading EEGs and other neurophysiologic studies.
5. Manage outpatient care independently in an established sleep clinic.
6. Contribute to quality of care reviews and improvements.
7. Work closely with the Sleep Clinic team and Neurology department staff.
8. Participate in general Neurology clinic and inpatient services, including ward duties.
9. Teach and supervise Neurology residents, medical students, and trainees.
10. Participate in on-call duties, including weekends and evenings.
11. Engage in Sleep telehealth visits and related duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed internship and residency in an accredited Neurology program.
• Board certified or eligible in Neurology by ABPN.
• Valid, unrestricted license in the U.S., District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Minimum two years recent practice in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in nerve/muscular disorders or electrodiagnostics (equivalent to one year).
• Board Certified/Eligible with interest in Sleep disorders and neurophysiology.
• ACLS, BLS, CPRS, and VA certifications are mandatory.
