West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology in the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute seek a Movement Disorders Neurologist (rank: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Canonsburg, PA.

Duties

The successful candidate will practice in the areas of neurology and movement disorders, provide excellent patient care, and actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for state medical license.
• Completed neurology residency program and movement disorders fellowship program.
• Board certified/eligible in neurology and movement disorders.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Team and Clinical Setting

The candidate will join an active multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, neuropathologists, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists for collaboration in patient care, research, and education. The WVU Department of Neurology has an active multidisciplinary ALS clinic and the only MDA clinic in West Virginia. The Southpointe clinic in Canonsburg, PA is within 30‑50 minutes of three WVU Health System hospitals and an hour drive from the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute Innovation Center in Morgantown, WV.

Hours

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
