The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and Department of Neurology at the WVU School of Medicine seek a neurologist (positions: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The candidate will practice in Keyser, WV, and Oakland, MD.
WVU Medicine is committed to addressing healthcare disparities by providing accessible neurologic care, leading to better management, early interventions, and improved health outcomes.
The successful candidate will practice neurology, primarily outpatient, with limited inpatient consultation.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, WV, is a 25-bed critical access facility serving Mineral County and surrounding areas, accredited by the Joint Commission.
Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland, MD, recognized as a top rural hospital nationally and regionally, serving parts of Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Both hospitals are members of the WVU Health System.
Keyser and Oakland offer mountain scenery, outdoor recreation, and a four-season climate, near Potomac River and Deep Creek Lake.
