Job description

Seeking BE/BC Neurohospitalist to join a talented team near Hartford, CT. This is a consultative service-only position. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing a wide range of acute neurological issues in the Emergency Department, medical and surgical floors, and ICUs.

Schedule Details
  1. 24 weeks of inpatient coverage per year
  2. Each week involves 7 consecutive days from 8AM to 8PM
  3. Shared telephone-based evening call coverage
Additional Responsibilities and Preferences
  • Weekend evenings covered by Teleneurology
  • Willingness to supervise and teach advanced practice providers is preferred
  • Comfort with acute stroke care is essential
  • Opportunities to engage in clinical research, quality improvement, patient experience initiatives, resident and faculty interviews, and lectures
