Corewell Health Neurosciences Royalton, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, is seeking to add a passionate board certified or board eligible General Neurologist to their dedicated team.

Opportunity to mentor and teach residents and medical students. Weekly Neuroscience Grand Rounds are offered and CME is available.

Outpatient position offering great work‑life balance and close proximity to beautiful Lake Michigan. The role includes access to 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist programs. The team includes three neurologists and an advanced practitioner, and a dedicated Neurohospitalist service provides inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital.

With a rich history dating back to the 1800s, Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan, is a beacon of medical excellence in the region – continually working to create an integrated system of care that is accessible, affordable, compassionate, and responsible. The state‑of‑the‑art facility has more than 250 beds and includes a recent expansion providing more than 260,000 square feet of new space for inpatient and ambulatory services.

The newly renovated emergency department includes 34 patient beds, 12 observation beds, and additional treatment areas for the more than 45,000 patients seen each year.

Corewell Health in southwest Michigan is a teaching hospital offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine, and hosts third and fourth year medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Central Michigan University College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Doctorate graduate of an approved medical college
• At least 2 years of clinical experience (preferred)
• Physician license (MD) – State of Michigan, required upon hire

• BLS certification – required within 90 days (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification – preferred
• PALS certification – preferred
