Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

• Clinic duties 8:30 AM–5:00 PM on weekdays; night calls from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
• Weekend coverage with 24‑hour on‑call.
• Procedural focus includes general neurosurgery, spinal surgery with instrumentation, ICP monitor placement; external traction experience preferred.

Description:This position involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.The provider will be on call for weeknights and 24-hour coverage during weekends.During weekdays, the provider will be expected to be in clinic and on call from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.Night call responsibilities will begin from 5:00 PM and extend until 8:30 AM the following day.Weekend coverage will require 24-hour call coverage.Patients will be seen in a clinical setting with approximately 5 encounters per shift.The role requires skills in general neurosurgery, spinal surgery with instrumentation, and placement of ICP monitors.Additional preferred skills include spinal surgery without instrumentation and experience with application of external traction.This position does not require airway certifications.The facility has a trauma level of 3.
