Seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrologists to join our well-established, hospital-employed general Nephrology practice.
Schedule and Practice Details
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday
- Fully staffed 1:3 weeks, light onsite call (urgent Hemodialysis)
- No admissions, only consults
- Eligible to earn additional compensation via our CERP (Pay for Call) Program
- Outpatient Dialysis: 24-chair unit
- Inpatient Dialysis: 6-bed unit
- Adams County Dialysis: 12-chair unit
- Rounding in the morning, clinic in the afternoon (8-12 patients)
- CRRT in ICU, No Transplant
- Medical Director opportunities available
Compensation Options
- Option 1: Base salary of $381,080 (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates) with additional experience-based compensation, guaranteed for 2 years. Switchable to a wRVU production contract upon exceeding targets.
- Option 2: Base salary of $474,925 (75th percentile MGMA), guaranteed for 1 year, then switchable to a wRVU production contract.
Note: 5% reduction for those not yet board-certified; salary adjusted upon certification.
Benefits Overview
- Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days). Additional 5 days with 75th percentile wRVUs
- CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5,000
- Deferred Compensation: 457b plan, up to IRS limit of $22,500/year before taxes. No employer match.
- Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan, defer up to IRS limits ($22,500 under 50, $26,000 over 50). SOMC matches 2% of base pay dollar for dollar.
- Moving Expenses: $10,000 paid to moving company
- Malpractice Insurance: Claims-made coverage, $2,000,000 per claim / $6,000,000 aggregate
- Health Insurance: Small premium deducted from paycheck
- Liquidated Damages: 70-mile non-compete or one year salary payout
- CERP Program: Details provided by VP of Finance
- Bonuses: Up to 10% of salary based on performance
- Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 ($25,000/year for each service year)
- Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000 (requires 2-year service commitment)
- Sign-on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000, paid at signing and forgiven over 2-4 years
