Franciscan Health is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrology Physician to join our Lafayette, IN practice. The role includes clinic, rounding, and dialysis outreach with minimal travel to Crawfordsville and Rensselaer, IN.

You will provide high-quality patient care with strong community ties and collaboration with Nurse Practitioners. Flexible schedule, call coverage 1:4, and a supportive health system are offered.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required (MD/DO) and license upon hire.
• Board certification in nephrology or eligibility upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Active medical licensure in Indiana is expected.

Responsibilities

• Work across clinic, rounding, and dialysis outreach locations.
• Travel to Crawfordsville and Rensselaer outreach locations as needed.
• Call coverage of 1:4.
• Manage outpatient volume of 10–15 patients daily; inpatient 0–5.
• Nurse Practitioner support is available.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrology Physician to join our growing practice located at Franciscan Physician Network Nephrology Hypertension Lafayette in Lafayette, IN. Provider will also travel to nearby outreach locations in Crawfordsville and Rensselaer, IN.

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Flexible full-time schedule
• Physician will divide their time between clinic, rounding and dialysis clinic outreach locations
• Minimal travel to outreach locations <1 hour from main campus, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. per shift
  • Crawfordsville – Once a week, 10 – 14 patients
  • Rensselaer – Once a month, 10 – 14 patients
• Call Coverage: 1:4
• Average outpatient volume: 10 - 15 patients per day
• Average inpatient volume: 0 – 5 patients per day
• Nurse Practitioner support
