Job summary

Cynet Health in Minnesota is seeking a Physician specialized in Internal Medicine - Nephrology for full-time hospital and clinic coverage. The schedule runs 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays, with additional on-call hours.

You will work closely with RNs and medical assistants to manage outpatient dialysis orders and inpatient care. The role requires fellowship in nephrology and experience with dialysis modalities (hemodialysis, CRRT, peritoneal dialysis) and catheter placement.

Qualifications

• Internal Medicine - Nephrology experience required.
• Experience with dialysis modalities including hemodialysis, CRRT and peritoneal dialysis.
• Ability to perform catheter placements and manage dialysis orders.

Responsibilities

• Full-time clinic and hospital nephrology coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays.
• On-call duties: 15 hours Mon-Fri and 24 hours on weekends.
• Manage inpatient rounding list of 14–18 patients; coordinate with RNs and MAs.
• Oversee dialysis orders and post-renal transplant/post-op care as needed.

Description:Types of patients include inpatient nephrology patients.Schedule involves nephrology hospital coverage set from 8 AM to 5 PM during regular hours.Additional responsibility includes 15 on-call hours from Monday to Friday.On weekends, there are 24 on-call hours.Full-time clinic coverage is expected along with one week per month for call coverage.Support staff includes RNs and medical assistants who assist with outpatient dialysis orders.Providers must manage an inpatient rounding list that fluctuates between 14 and 18 patients.The facility is located in a scenic area with access to various dining and entertainment options.Patient encounters per shift range from 14 to 18.The facility operates with a trauma level of 2.Pediatric facility level is 0.Fellowship in the relevant area is required.Management of post-renal transplants and catheter placement is a necessary skill set.Renal biopsy is not required for this position.
