Neonatologist Locum Opportunity in New Mexico

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Duration: Ongoing while hiring

Board Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics & BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Schedule: 24-hour in-house coverage (7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.). 1 NNP works from 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. daily.

Shift Responsibility: In-house coverage only

NICU Level: 53-bed Level III NICU with 16 L&D Rooms and a 41-bed mother-baby unit.

Backup Services: Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology

Census: 29-35 Average Daily Census (approx. 3,200 deliveries/year)

EMR Type: Epic

License Requirement: Must have active New Mexico license and DEA

Privileges: 90-day timeline for credentialing
