Description:We are seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist to step into a Practice Medical Director role.In this role, you will lead clinical excellence, quality initiatives, and academic advancement within a high-acuity NICU.You will provide clinical care in a Level IIIB NICU with 60 beds and approximately 625 annual admissions.As Practice Medical Director, you will oversee clinical operations and provider performance.You will lead and implement quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.Drive clinical innovation and program development within the neonatal service line.Collaborate with hospital leadership and academic partners to expand neonatal services.Participate in teaching and academic responsibilities for medical students and pediatric and family medicine residents.Engage in Grand Rounds, simulation boot camps, and educational programming.Mentor residents in quality improvement and research projects.Support and grow scholarly and academic initiatives in partnership with the medical school.Work alongside multidisciplinary pediatric subspecialists, including maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric surgery.Utilize advanced neonatal therapies such as high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy.This position requires residency within the immediate local area and relocation may be required.Locums candidates and visa candidates will not be accepted.A comprehensive benefits package will be provided, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Additionally, life and disability coverage, retirement plan, and employee stock purchase program will be offered.Promote work-life balance and family well-being through employer-supported benefits.
