We are seeking full-time and part-time board-certified/board-eligible Neonatologists to join our growing CHRISTUS Ochsner Neonatology Team at our community Level III NICU located in Lake Charles, LA.

Lake Charles is a family-oriented community located in the Southwest region of Louisiana, just 75 miles from Lafayette and 60 miles from Beaumont, Texas. Home of McNeese State University, Southwest Louisiana offers year-round outdoor activities and hosts over 75 annual festivals, including Mardi Gras, Louisiana Pirate Festival, and Christmas celebrations.
Ochsner Health encompasses a range of community level III and IV NICU services across Louisiana and serves the Gulf South region with an established neonatal transport system.
Our comprehensive Ochsner Children’s program includes 88 primary care pediatricians across 27 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi, and pediatric subspecialists totaling over 270 physicians. We are the region’s leading multispecialty provider for newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults, offering services like congenital heart surgery, liver and bone marrow transplants, advanced GI and Hepatology, spine surgery, Hematology-Oncology, and a multidisciplinary developmental pediatrics center.
