We are seeking a Neonatologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This critical role involves 24/7 coverage with 24-hour shifts, demanding a quick response to neonatal intensive care needs, particularly in a NICU setting.

• Provider Type Needed: Neonatologist
• Schedule: 24-hour shifts, including out of house call with a 30-minute response time

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a NICU
• Manage daily patient care activities, including assessments and treatments
• Participate in the management of a low volume NICU with an average daily census of 0.7
• Handle procedures as required
• Deliver care for high-risk deliveries, comprising 10-12% of annual deliveries

Additional Information

• Board certification in Neonatology or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required
• Must be licensed to practice in California
