The Center Medical Director collaborates with the Center Leadership Team and Regional Medical Director to oversee medical policies and ensure high-quality occupational healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care and lead by example to create an exceptional patient experience.
  2. Collaborate with therapists and specialists to optimize clinical outcomes.
  3. Monitor clinical metrics related to quality outcomes.
  4. Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with supervisory requirements.
  5. Foster a professional, collaborative, and safe working environment.
  6. Utilize clinical systems efficiently for documentation, coding, and charge capture.
  7. Ensure compliance with applicable state laws and regulations.
  8. Drive patient and client experience metrics.
  9. Communicate with employers about injuries and clinical updates.
  10. Participate in leadership meetings to improve quality and growth.
  11. Maintain relationships with clients and payers, responding within 24 hours.
  12. Manage staffing levels and promote a positive culture aligned with Orange Book values.
  13. Develop staff and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  14. Contribute to financial management and business outcomes.
Qualifications

Education/Credentials

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Board certification by ABPM, ABFM, or equivalent
  • State licensure
  • ACLS certification preferred

Experience

  • 5-8 years in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine
