Overview

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has an outstanding opportunity for an Outpatient Internal Medicine/Pediatric Physician. The ideal candidate is passionate about caring for patients across the lifespan and care continuum, with the majority of time in clinic and some inpatient call supporting our ED and OB teams. Our primary care clinics are designated NHSC service sites allowing for loan repayment options, as well as a Rural Health site offering Oregon income tax credit. Our team welcomes new graduates and experienced doctors alike, to work with a cohesive group of APPs, physicians, nurses and medical assistants who are very passionate about evidence-based whole person care. We are a designated 5 STAR Primary Care Medical Home with integrated Behavioral Health, on-site diabetes education and EPIC EMR.

Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features rushing waterfalls, year-round outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and biking trails. The area boasts world class wineries, wonderful views, affordable housing, and a supportive medical staff that look forward to working with you.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Internal Medicine and Pediatric care across the lifespan.
• Majority of work in clinic with some inpatient call supporting ED and OB teams.
• Collaborate with APPs, physicians, nurses and medical assistants to deliver evidence-based whole person care.
• Utilize EPIC EMR and participate in a team-oriented care model within a designated 5 STAR Primary Care Medical Home.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of four-year U.S. allopathic or osteopathic medical school or equivalent
• Licensure/Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of practice
• BLS
• NRP
