Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our collaborative Behavioral Health team in Madison, WI. The role offers a flexible schedule, no nightly call, and a hybrid model with in-person and telepsychiatry options.

The position emphasizes medication management in an outpatient setting, with strong system support and dedicated patient population. Board certification in Psychiatry and fellowship in child/adolescent psychiatry are required.

• Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted Wisconsin medical license (or eligibility).
• Active and unrestricted DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management-focused outpatient care for child and adolescent patients.
• Deliver care in a flexible schedule with no night call and telehealth support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team in a hybrid model.

SSM Health is seeking a Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our highly collaborative and well-established Behavioral Health team in Madison, Wisconsin. Our Behavioral Health department includes:

• 12 Psychiatrists (10 adult/child psychiatrists and 6 APNPs)
• 35+ Psychotherapists (Master's Therapists and Psychologists)
• A supportive, multidisciplinary environment designed for excellent patient care

Position Highlights:

• 4–5 day flexible workweek (full-time)
• 32 patient contact hours (full-time)
• Flexible FTE: 80–100%
• No nightly call; Telepsych covers 5 p.m.–8 a.m.
• Hybrid model with in-person and virtual options
• Night call rotation every 16–18 days (primarily weeknights)
• Rotational weekend inpatient rounding with additional stipend
• Outreach opportunities available
