Job summary

Community Health Network, in partnership with GoHealth Urgent Care, is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) for Urgent Care in Central Indiana. The role involves independent patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across ages, with collaboration with PAs/NPs and 12-hour shift coverage.

You will manage a broad scope of urgent care services and contribute to a welcoming care culture. The position requires post-residency experience, board eligibility, and an active medical license, with EMR proficiency

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Active state medical license and Board certification/eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients across all age groups.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe medications.
• Treat minor injuries including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Record progress notes and manage follow-up care.
• Educate and counsel patients on health and wellness.

You’ll treat acute conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, minor infections, and injuries.
