Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care and Community Health Network in Central Indiana are seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to provide broad clinical services across ages in urgent care settings. You will treat acute conditions, perform history, exams, order tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate with PA/NPs under supervision.

We require board eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine, active state license, and 12-hour shifts. Suturing, splinting, vaccinations, and EMR proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Adult and pediatric care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients across all age groups.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X‑rays.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe medications.
• Treat minor injuries including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Record progress notes and manage follow-up care.
• Educate and counsel patients on health and wellness.
• Administer vaccinations and refer patients for specialized care.
• Supervise GoHealth PA/NPs remotely and act as Collaborating Physician during credentialing.

You’ll treat acute conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, minor infections, and injuries.
