Job summary

Barton Associates seeks a dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician for a 35-day assignment in California, starting Oct 1, 2026. This outpatient role runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, supporting a new clinic program and serving approximately eight patients daily.

The physician will perform Biophysical Profiles, Detailed Anatomy Scans, MCA Doppler, UA Doppler, and amniocentesis, with genetic counseling as the program develops and expansion to additional sites over time. Epic EMR is used.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in a new Maternal-Fetal Medicine program.
• Establish and grow the outpatient clinic with initial site focus.
• Perform Biophysical Profiles (BPP).
• Conduct Detailed Anatomy Scans.
• Utilize MCA Doppler.
• Perform first and second trimester fetal anatomy evaluations.
• Execute UA Doppler.
• Transvaginal cervical measurements.
• Offer genetic counseling and testing services.
• Perform amniocentesis.

Job description

• Perform First and Second Trimester Fetal Anatomy Evaluations.
• Execute Umbilical Artery (UA Doppler).
• Conduct Transvaginal Cervical Measurements.
• Offer Genetic Counseling and Testing services.
• Perform Amniocentesis.
