Overview

Physician / Massachusetts / Permanent / Non-Invasive Cardiologist opening in the greater Boston area. Seeking a BC/BE Non-invasive Cardiologist to join a well-established cardiovascular disease practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with 3 non-invasive cardiologists and 1 advanced practitioner in the outpatient setting, plus 3 additional inpatient cardiologists.
• Provide ER/inpatient consults at a nearby hospital.
• Participate in night, weekend, and holiday call schedule (approximately 1:7).
• Advantageous but not required: additional training/certification in echocardiography, nuclear medicine, cardiac CT, and/or MRI.
• Help grow an outpatient cardiology practice with adequate operational support.
• Collaborate with PCPs in the network who refer patients, including those embedded in the same practice.
• Provide high-quality inpatient cardiology care and direct the management of complex cardiology patients.
• Contribute to building a thriving outpatient practice and delivering expert inpatient care for complex referral patients.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in non-invasive cardiology (BC/BE).
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient cardiology settings preferred.
• Interest in echocardiography, nuclear medicine, cardiac CT, and/or MRI is welcome but not mandatory.

• Approximate work distribution: 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient.
• Provide ER/inpatient consults at a nearby hospital.
• Night, weekend, and holiday call schedule of about 1:7.
